Ayurveda

Ayurveda believes that every person is made of five basic elements constituting the universe: space, air, fire, water, and earth.
These create the human body and its three life forces called doshas. These doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) control how our body functions.
Vata Dosha: Often considered the most powerful dosha, Vatacontrols basic physical functions including breathing, heart function, and blood flow. Eating too much, fear, grief, and staying up late at night can disrupt Vatadosha and bring forth conditions like anxiety, asthma, heart disease, skin problems, and more.
Pitta Dosha:This controls digestion, metabolism, and hormones linked to appetite. If you eat extremely spicy food or encounter extreme heat in your environment, this energy can malfunction causing heart disease, high blood pressure, and infections.
Kapha Dosha: This controls muscle growth, body strength and stability, and your immune system. Sleeping during the day, eating way too much sweet, and consuming excessive salt and water can misbalance your body’s Kapha components and cause breathing disorders, cancer, diabetes, nausea, and obesity.
